Since 2019, I have been fortunate enough to work closely with wine and spirits, allowing me to further explore and appreciate the intricacies and playfulness of each exquisite drink. The complexity of flavors, the rich history within each bottle fascinates me. The life experiences of creators with each sip is the story I love to learn and convey to each of my guests. Within an industry which is constantly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities, I am eager to adapt and grow as a Sommeliere. Working with wine has not only honed my palate, but also taught me the importance of attention to detail and the ability to navigate the ever-changing trends and preferences of consumers. With each new vintage, I am reminded of the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into producing exceptional wines. With all of that said, that is why I fall in love with the industry daily and why I work to ensure each tasting, private dinner, consultation, and partnership embodies the joy and excitement of the industry. Meet Jodi, Sommelier, Wine Concierge
Born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. she relocated to Charlotte. Olmeda’s passion for wine arose several years ago after she took a job as a server at a wine bar. “I just fell in Love with the journey that wine and food take you on. In a glass you can learn about the time period, the wine-maker, the region and so many other things- it’s a journey for you taste buds.”
